Andrew has a great experience in the challenges of building a Life Science SME . Thanks to his deep knowledge of the Life Science and Biotech UK ecosystem he did facilitate important focused linkages between SME’s and academia in the early stages of business development in the biotech and Medtech space. His background in facilitating these linkages between scientists and industry and expertise to network at strategic conferences and meetings, is of great value to Jellagen. Andrew is also of sound advice in the assessment of new business development opportunities and also on non-dilutive funding opportunities. His ability to think outside the box combined with his knowledge of the challenges faced by fast growing SMEs, is of great help to support Jellagen’s development growth.
Andrew holds a College Diploma in Agriculture and a Post Graduate Diploma in Agriculture and Food Industries from the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester.
After having developed and sold the family farming business, Andrew became a significant Angel Investor and Director in Neem Biotech Limited in 1998 and was involved in the business development of the Company. In 2012 the company was sold to a larger Life Science company and he was kept on as an Innovations Liaison Manager. His involvement is currently approaching 20 years with the company.
In 2014 he became an Angel Investor via Xenos in Jellagen Pty Limited where he acts as Board observer and Business development advisor.
Andrew has been appointed Jellagen Board Observer in 2014.
